If we like it or not this is the image of Ethiopia perceived by the entire world, despite some of us tend to deceive ourselves by depicting different image.
We are the paradigm of poverty, suffering, and misery. 
Most of our children die in malnutrition and preventable infectious disease, because they lack the nutritional support which is necessary to build their immune system.
I understand such kind of self-evident truth would not bother the thieves who are taking food from the mouth of the starved Ethiopian children.
What makes our officials cruel and barbaric is that their disregarded to the suffering of millions and continue to steal from the already wretched and suffering people.
There is no scale to describe their cruelty.
Million children would die before celebrating their one year birth day (of course celebration is a fancy word to the poor who does not have any food to ease his suffering), because of our officials robbing the country and left it without any supporting institution.

Let’s ask every one of us, what we have done to change this bad reputation and put our country in different path. 

ድህነት ተምሳሌዎች እስከመቸ እንዲህ ሁነን እንደምንቀጥል አይገባኝም።
ይባስ ብሎ፤ ከደንባራ በቅሎ ቃጭል ተጨሞር እንዲሉ፤ ዛሬ ከድህነት ሌላ እርስ በእርሳችን ተጣልተን፤ ለጋራ ችግራችን በጋራ እንዳናስብና እንዳንሰራ ተደርገናል።
አንዳንዴ ድህነት ድንቁርና ከሃገሪቱ እንዳይለቅ የምንፈልግ ይመስለኛል።
አለም እኛን የሚያይበትን መነጸር የተረዳን አይመለኝም፤
አንድ ምሳሌ ልንገራች ሁ፤ ትምህርት ቤት በነበርኩበት ጊዜ አንድ መምህሬ ሁሌ በኛ ነገር ስለሚገረም፤ ለምንድንነዉ እናንተ እራሳሁ ን መቻል ያቃታች ሁ፤ ምግብ ማምርት በጣም ቀላል ነገር ነዉ፤ ብዙ እዉቀት አይፈልግም፤ እስቲ ችግሩ ምን እንደሆነ ንገርኝ እያለ ይጨቀጭቀኝ ነበር። እርገጠኛ ነኝ ብዙዎቻችን በትምህርትና በስራ አለም የተሰማራን እንደዚህ አይነት ሁኔታ ሳይገጥመን አይቀርም።
ሜክሲኮም ህሳናት ምግብ አልበሉ ሲሉ፤ ብትበላ ይሻልሃል፤ የኢትዮጵያ ህጻናት ይህን አጥተዉ ነዉ በርሃብ የሚረግፉት ይባላል።
እንግዲህ እስከመች የብዙሃኑ የሲ ኦል መዲና፤ የጥቂቶች ገነት ሆና ሃገራችን ትቀጥላለች።
